The Mangosteen Restaurant is located on the second floor of the hotel and is named after the purple tropical fruit which grows from a tropical evergreen tree . It is filled with beautiful décor presented in a Swiss-Style but there are a mix of violet, brown and purple designs creatively woven into the cream chairs, with a sparkling chandelier hanging near the entrance which adds an elegant feel to the dining area.

The waiter staff came over to the table were polite and professional, and recommended the best dishes for us to taste.
The First Course:
I love seafood and so I chose the Shrimp Spring Rolls. A traditional selection of spring rolls with avocado, rice noodle, tobiko and mixed herbs. A lovely starter which was nicely presented and delicious.
Well no surprise here! I absolutely love seafood and so this simply jumped out at me on the menu. A delicious coconut curry with King Prawns, ginger, garlic, lemongrass and chilli. Full of flavour. It had a bit of a spicy bite to it from the chilli but with the combination of the coconut it was a well-balanced taste. Really enjoyed this.
A mouth-watering desert to finish our meal. This fabulous desert was served with crispy almond, homemade macaron, marshmallow and orange sauce. A nice finish.
We enjoyed the meal so much here, it is simply a place you need to visit so you can try some delicious Vietnamese cuisine. I’ve really come to enjoy the Vietnamese food.
